Jigawa state government set embark on mass mosque construction in the state

The Jigawa state government is set to embark on mass mosque construction in the state. The state government recently requested for construction firms to bid for the 90 mosques that would be provided in all the constituencies in the state.

A statement released by Muhammad Musa, the Chairman of the state Tender Board Committee for the project yesterday, states that no fewer than 78 construction companies have signified interest for the award of the contracts for construction of the mosques. The government plans to build three mosques in each of the 30 constituencies of the state.
